I am no make up guru.
Though I am not a makeup guru, i really like makeup tools
After checking the make up I have (including the ones given to me as a present)
I was currently using my prescriptives mineral powder, which was a pasalubong from my mom.
I checked our refrigerator and saw 2 more packs of shiseido cream foundation.
and I remembered we have kept it there since it was still sealed.
So I decided to finish those first.
I used to love these, but I remember I stopped using this because of the sponges.
There sponges are good but hard to clean when already stained.
So I decided to hunt for the right applicator.
A lot might probably try foundation brushes,
but I am not fond of them,
so I ended up searching for the right flat brush or buffer brush.
Luckily I have found 3 for comparison.
Only used with cream foundation
Ellana Flat top brush - Length less than 5" , brush diameter 3/4"
Suesh Flat foundation brush - Length less than 7" , brush diameter 7/8"
E.L.F. Powder brush - Length less than 7" , brush diameter 1-1/4"
Ellana Flat top brush - Length less than 5" , brush diameter 3/4"
I got this for (P400)
Pros: easy to carry around, short handled.
No shedding and bleeding, very dense
Cons: For me, its too small, takes a while to finish buffing, could work better on mineral powder application or good as an eye cream applicator
Repurchasing power:
Sorry but No
Suesh Flat foundation brush - Length less than 7" , brush diameter 7/8"
This was the very first brush I have tried for cream foundation (P800)
Pros: It buffs cream foundation easily, densely pack.
No shedding and bleeding
Cons: For me , it still takes a while to finish but faster than the ellana brush
Repurchasing power:
Maybe
E.L.F. Powder brush - Length less than 7" , brush diameter 1-1/4"
I got this for (P300)
Pros: Lets me finish buffing in no time, spreads evenly
Bristles are soft, so far no shedding and no bleeding
Cos: I can't find one as of the moment
Repurchasing power:
Yes, truth is I'm itching to order another on for back up
but I am waiting for my sonia kashuk and prescriptives air brush from my aunt.
so I will update you guys by then.
These brushing takes a while to dry.
*Edit,
I actually sold my suesh brush.
Thank you for the buyer.
When I visited suesh store at trinoma,
I noticed that the new flat top brush is not as dense anymore.
It feels similar to my sonia kashuk brush.
I hardly have time to blog but I have added so many brushes since this post.
Will try to update

Prevent raccoon eyes from mascara, waterproof your mascara
My aunts often sends mascara's from the US.
since I have short lashes, it helps add volume.
But so far no mascara had lasted without giving me raccoon eyes.
even the so called waterproof ones.
It could be because of these reasons:
- My lashes are to short
- not all lashes get curled up
- the curls falls easily
- maybe my eyes gets oily easily.
So I simply stopped using mascara's eventually.
then I learned of Clarin's double fix mascara.
Its a clear/transparent mascara that promises to hold your curls
and to give shine to lashes.
It seems to hold the curls but I am not sure with the shine part.
I swipe this after I put on any mascara,
I always do 2 coats just to be sure.
So far I think this is the best product for really smudge proof mascara.
Now my problem is how to remove this mascara.
its really takes a while to remove.
But I still like it. it really gave me the confidence to use any mascara.

Shu uemura glow on swatch and Fanny serrano Blush swatch
Recently I have an addiction for blushers.
I already have a couple of blushers but reading all these blogs makes me want more.
But of all my blushers my dior shimmers are still my favorite, and I am happy to inform you that we already have amber diamond availble at rustans.
I don't really wear them. since I am most of the time at home.
So below are a few of my new blushers.
Shu uemura glow on P30 - pink, M33e - matte pink , P94, Fanny serrano blush in angel pink and silk coral.
I have read that shu uemura blushers are more expensive here so when my brother asked me if I needed anything from HK, I asked for these.
I have been eyeing on fanny serrano blushers for quite a while, so might as well
The Shu Uemura blushers are great, they are powdery and quite pigmented, so you should try applying on light hand, but for those with bigger pores, these might not suit you, as my pores more obvious upon applying but they do settle beautifully.
Staying power is great , I should say better than nars, and I did not even apply a
makeup base when I tried these on my face.
But if you are on a budget, I should say Fanny Serrano blushers are great as well, staying powder is good. But these may give some irritation to those with sensitive skin since the shimmers are not as fine as nars, nor shu. I said may, since I am not sure, I don't wear these everyday.
Colors are great, heard some say that silky coral is a dupe for nars orgasm, I have nars orgasm as well, it could pass as it, but I think you should have both angel pink and silky coral to blend to get the real match of nars orgasm.
Silky coral is a little more pigmented
did I mention I have MAC mineralize blushers as well, they are great on the cheeks but I don't think these are for everyday use, I do not have sensitive skin but they actually make me start to break out, I think its the shimmers in it or maybe the ingredients in it.
btw, below is a color guide of fanny serrano blushers.
I am planning to get more of their blush but the more obvious glitters is stopping me.
